How does a shooting request work?

You briefly describe what you have in mind: cosplay/character, location and preferred timeframe. We then discuss together which image ideas fit well. The shoot itself is relaxed and pressure-free — nobody needs to pose perfectly. Afterwards you'll get a preliminary selection, followed by the final edited photos. The fastest way to start is the "Request a shooting" button on the site.

Do I already need experience with cosplay/shoots?

Accepted Answer

No, beginners and first-time cosplayers are very welcome too. You don't need to be able to pose perfectly — that's exactly what the planning conversation beforehand is for.

Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

Accepted Answer

Yes, just let me know about short-notice changes as early as possible (best via Discord/Instagram) — a new date can usually be found without any hassle.

How do I create an order through the website?

The easiest way is via "Request a shooting" on the homepage, or directly from an offer under "Services". You'll need a free account for this — after submitting, you can see your order any time under "Account", including its status, message history and, later, the contract.

What kind of shoots do you offer?

Accepted Answer

Convention photos, outdoor shoots, classic portraits and character photography. Cosplay, portrait and event photography are my main focus. Just describe your idea and we'll figure out the right approach together.

Where do shoots take place / how far do you travel?

Accepted Answer

This is arranged individually, depending on the location and idea. Just tell me where you'd like the shoot to take place, and I'll let you know whether and under what conditions it's possible.

What should I bring to the shoot?

Mainly your costume/outfit and any props you might need. Everything else — location, schedule, special requests — we'll discuss beforehand so you're well prepared.

What if the weather is bad for an outdoor shoot?

That's decided on a case-by-case basis. Sometimes bad weather actually fits the concept well, other times we reschedule. It's best to get in touch beforehand so we can find a good solution together.

Do you offer shoots outside of Bielefeld too?

As a photographer I'm mainly based in and around Bielefeld (Ostwestfalen-Lippe region, Germany). Depending on the location and scope, I'm happy to travel further too — just send me your idea and desired location and we'll figure it out together.

What does a shoot cost?

There are no fixed flat rates — the cost (and whether anything is charged at all) is discussed individually depending on the request: effort, location, timeframe etc. Just describe what you have in mind and you'll get a fitting estimate.

Do you also offer TFP shoots (Time for Prints)?

Accepted Answer

Yes — some shoots also run on a TFP basis (Time for Prints), meaning no payment, in exchange for the finished photos. Whether that's an option for your request is something we'll figure out together during our first contact.

Question 12

How and when do I pay?

Accepted Answer

For paid shoots, you'll receive an invoice once a price has been agreed. Payment can be made by bank transfer — depending on whether online payment is enabled, sometimes also directly on the site by card, PayPal or Klarna. Everything else is arranged individually, since most shoots are discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Will I receive an invoice?

Yes, once a price has been agreed I'll issue you a proper invoice — you can also find it any time afterwards in your order under "Account".

How long until I get my photos?

Accepted Answer

Usually 2–4 weeks after the shoot. During busier periods (many requests at once) it can take a bit longer — you'll get a realistic estimate in advance.

How do I receive my finished photos?

Accepted Answer

Your photos are provided in a dedicated gallery, which you'll find under "My Photos" in your account. There you can mark your favourites and download the approved images.

Can I edit or post the photos myself?

Accepted Answer

You're welcome to post your photos — please credit @rakku.photography as the photographer. Please check with me first before making major edits (e.g. heavy filters, cropping, AI editing).

Do I need an account to request a shoot?

Yes, a free account makes sure you can keep track of your order at any time — status, messages, contract and later your photos, all in one place.

Where can I see the status of my order?

Accepted Answer

Under "Account" you can see all your orders with their current status — from the initial request through scheduling to the final photo selection. You can also message me directly there if you have questions.

How can I get in touch if I have a problem?

The fastest way is via Discord or Instagram, or through the chat directly on the site. For a specific order, you can also message me directly through the messaging feature in your account.
